- 250 grams Tomatoes
- 100 grams smoked Bacon (sliced)
- 1 onion
- 500 grams Spaghetti
- salt
- 200 grams Peas (frozen)
- 4 eggs
- 200 milliliters Whipped cream
- 3 Tbsps freshly grated Parmesan
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
- Chives (for garnishing)

Preparation steps

Rinse tomatoes, cut out stalks and chop. Cut bacon into strips. Peel onion and chop finely. Cook bacon in a hot pan until crispy. Cook pasta in boiling salted water for 5 minutes, drain and rinse in cold water and drain again. Combine with tomatoes, bacon, onion and peas. Spread in a clay pot.

Whisk eggs with cream and cheese, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and pour over pasta. Close pot with a lid and place into a cold oven. Turn oven temperature to 180°C (approximately 350°F) and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove lid and bake for another 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chives and serve.
