100 milliliters Raspberry vinegar
1 Tbsp green, pickled peppers (from a jar)

4 Camembert
1 egg
80 grams breadcrumbs

Preparation steps

Peel and finely chop shallot. Rinse, hull and cut strawberries into bite-sized cubes. In a saucepan, cook onion in 1 tablespoon oil until translucent. Drizzle with honey and cook until caramelized. Add vinegar, strawberries and pickled peppercorns and simmer 4-5 minutes over medium heat. Season with salt, remove from heat and let cool until room temperature.

Dip Camembert first in beaten egg, then dredge on all sides in breadcrumbs, pressing firmly so that breadcrumbs adhere. Fry in hot oil until golden-brown. Drain on paper towels.

Serve fried Camembert with strawberry relish. If desired, serve with a fresh green salad.
