- 1 White cabbage (800 grams)
- salt
- butter (for greasing)
- 200 milliliters Whipped cream (at least 30% fat content)
- 100 grams Crème fraiche
- 50 grams ground Hazelnuts
- 50 grams ground almonds
- 50 grams grated Gruyere
- ½ bunch freshly chopped parsley
- peppers (freshly ground)
- ½ tsp Curry powder

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse, trim and cut the cabbage into slices. Remove the hard strunk of the cabbage from only so far that the layers still hold together.
2.
Blanch the cabbage in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes until al dente. Rinse with cold water and drain. Add the blanched cabbage to a greased baking dish.
3.
Mix the cream with creme fraiche and the nuts. Season with salt and pepper and spread over the cabbage in the baking dish. Sprinkle with curry powder and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 400°F) for about 10 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
