Avocados contain many unsaturated fatty acids, such as oleic acid, which fights inflammation in the body and thus has a positive effect on our heart health. It also contains folate, which is particularly important for pregnant women in the first weeks of pregnancy, as it protects against miscarriage and developmental disorders.

Do not serve the salad directly, then you should sprinkle some lemon juice on the avocado cubes as well, otherwise they will turn brown. A rosemary focaccia goes well with the avocado latte with tomatoes.

Preparation steps

Peel onion and cut into rings. Rinse tomatoes and cut into quarters. Rinse basil and cut leaves into strips. Mix oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cut avocados in half and scoop out flesh whole with a spoon.

Set avocado peels aside. Cut avocado meat into cubes and mix gently with tomatoes, onion, basil and salad dressing in a bowl.

Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste. Place avocado salad inside avocado peels and serve garnished with basil leaves.
