Nutritional values

The combination of green asparagus and mascarpone provides a good portion of vitamin A and is good for the skin and vision. The mascarpone also scores points as a calcium and phosphorus supplier for healthy teeth and strong bones.

Although mascarpone is very rich in fat, it can be enjoyed with a clear conscience: the Italian cream cheese has a long-lasting satiating effect and can counteract attacks of ravenous appetite. Those who still want to reduce the fat content can replace the mascarpone with sour cream or plain yogurt. For even more flavor, and some vitamin C and iron, sprinkle the finished dish with fresh parsley.
