- 4 cups vegetable stock
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- ½ tsp peppers
- 1 tsp Chili sauce
- 2 Tbsps Vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic cloves (crushed)
- 8 ozs canned Bamboo shoots (drained)
- 4 ozs Bean sprout
- 4 ½ ozs Snap pea
- 8 scallions (sliced)
- 2 Tbsps Chili oil
- To garnish
- ½ Tbsp Mustard seed
- ½ Tbsp Sesame seeds
- 4 Tbsps torn cilantro

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the stock in a large pan until boiling. Add the soy sauce, pepper, chilli sauce, vinegar and garlic and simmer for 5 minutes.
2.
Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for a further 5 minutes until just tender and piping hot.
3.
Heat a dry frying pan and heat the seeds, shaking the pan until the mustard seeds 'pop' and the sesame seeds are toasted.
4.
Pour the soup into warm bowls and sprinkle with the seeds and torn coriander.
