1 large garlic

3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
3 tablespoons mild honey
1 ½ teaspoons Chinese sesame oil
cayenne pepper
16 ounces Chicken wing
16 ounces Chicken drumstick
2 tablespoons Sesame seeds (lightly toasted)
¼ cup grapeseed oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cups Arugula

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with foil and lightly oil it with cooking spray or vegetable oil.

To make the sauce, mix the garlic and salt into a paste in a large bowl. Next add the soy sauce, hoisin, honey, sesame oil, and cayenne. Remove half of the sauce and set aside. Add the chicken wings and drumsticks to the remaining half of the sauce in the bowl and gently fold the wings and drumsticks very well mixing them gently with a big spoon.

Place wings and drumsticks on baking sheet pan and roast in the oven for 35 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Add the grapeseed oil and lemon juice to a mixing bowl and whisk to make a quick dressing. Toss in the arugula leaves and coat with dressing. Serve the chicken wings and drumsticks on a plate or platter with dressed arugula leaves and serve with remaining chicken sauce for dipping.
