- Ingredients
- 4 scallions
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 egg
- 350 grams mixed Ground meat
- 2 Tbsps breadcrumbs
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsps Teriyaki sauce
- 2 Tbsps honey
- 4 Tbsps Mayonnaise
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse, trimand cut the scallions into 5-6 cm (approximately 2-2 1/4 inch) long pieces.
2.
Peel the shallot and garlic and finely chop. Mix the ginger and egg into the meat. Add enough breadcrumbs until the mixture is easy to shape. Shape into 4 patties. Cook on both sides in a hot pan in 2 tablespoons oil about 6 minutes. Mix the teriyaki sauce, 1-2 tablespoons water and honey, and add to the pan during the last 1-2 minutes of cooking.
3.
Saute the scallions in another pan in the remaining oil until golden brown about 5 minutes.
4.
Halve the burger horizontally and cook on the cut surfaces until golden brown. Brush the bottoms with mayonnaise and top the glazed burgers with the green onions. Top with the remaining halves and serve.
