- 800 grams waxy potatoes
- 2 Apple
- 300 milliliters Whipped cream
- 100 grams grated Cheese (such as Gruyère, Emmentaler)
- 50 grams Crème fraiche
- salt

- freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C upper and lower heat.

Peel and halve garlic, rub gratin pan with cut surfaces. Peel and rinse potatoes, cut into very thin slices. Peel apples, quarter and core, cut into thin slices. Layer potato and apple slices in a pan. Whisk cream with cheese and sour cream. Season with salt, nutmeg and pepper and pour over apples and potatoes so that everything is just covered.

Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 50 minutes or until golden brown. If gratin browns too much, cover with aluminum foil. Remove from the oven and serve.
