Nutritional values

The grapefruit is good for our intestines due to its bitter substances, and the fibre it contains is also good for our digestion and has an appetite-suppressing effect. Aloe Vera has been used as a medicinal plant for over 4000 years and with its 300 active ingredients it offers many possibilities. Among other things, they are said to be able to alleviate breathing and digestion problems, gum inflammation and allergy problems.

For the leaf salad with aloe vera, you must prepare the aloe vera beforehand. For this, cut the leaf into 8-10 cm wide pieces, cut away the green on the flatter side until you can see a transparent layer. You can now carefully remove the gel from the leaf. For aloe vera recipes always use only plants that are suitable for consumption, because there are also poisonous varieties.
