1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1.333 cups milk
1 bay leaf

Preparation steps

Melt the butter in a pan, then stir in the flour to make a paste.

Whisk in the milk a bit at a time, stirring until the sauce is smooth and thick. Add the bay leaf and leave to cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season and remove the bay leaf before serving.
