Warm Golden Fruit
Remove the stones from the plums and into thick wedges. Core the apples and cut into segments.
In a large skillet or pan melt the butter until its spitting.
Stir in the sugar and when it starts to dissolve add the fruit wedges.
Turn up the heat and coat the fruit in the caramelising sugar and butter by tossing them gently.
After 5 minutes of cooking, when the fruit is softening and the skins are starting to caramelise, they should take on a golden colour.
Stir in the Grand Marnier and cook for a further minute before removing from the heat.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes then transfer into serving dishes.
Crumble the cereal bars together in a small bowl and then sprinkle over the plums and apples. Serve with vanilla ice cream, fresh cream or custard.
