- For the Pico de Gallo
- 1 medium Tomato
- 2 Tbsps cilantro
- ¼ cup finely chopped Red onions
- 1 tsp freshly squeezed Lime juice
- ¼ tsp salt
- For the Burgers
- 3 cups ground Turkey
- 1 egg
- ½ cup fresh Basil (chopped)
- ½ cup golden breadcrumbs
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp peppers
- 8 ciabatta Rolls

Preparation steps

For the Pico de Gallo:

Mix all ingredients together and set aside.

For the Turkey Burgers:

Place all ingredients (except for the rolls)in a large mixing bowl and mix until combined.

Shape the turkey mixture into 8 patties.

In a large skillet over medium high heat, cook the burgers. Cook about 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and then transfer to a plate to rest. Do this in batches until all the burgers are cooked.
7.
To serve, start by placing a burger on the bottom half of the roll. Next add a small spoonful of the pico de gallo and then place the top of the bun on to finish.
