Preparation steps

Rinse the tomatoes, remove the cores, and cut into wedges. Peel the onion, cut in half, and julienne. Peel and finely dice the garlic. Rinse the basil and pat dry. Remove the leaves from the stems and coarsely chop. Mix the basil with the onion, garlic, tomatoes, vinegar, and oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
