1 small onion
2 garlic cloves
2 sprigs Sage
4 Tbsps olive oil
1 sm can white Beans (400 g, approximately 14 ounces)
50 grams green Pumpkin seed
salt
peppers
lemon juice
toasted white bread (for serving)

Preparation steps

Peel onion and garlic and chop. Rinse sage and finely chop the leaves. Reserve some sage for garnish. Heat oil in a frying pan and sauté onions and garlic. Add sage and sauté briefly. Drain beans, reserving some of the liquid.

2.

Coarsely chop pumpkin seeds. Combine beans, half the pumpkin seeds and some of the reserved bean liquid. Purée until smooth with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Spread on toasts, garnish with pumpkin seeds and sage and serve.
