Preparation steps

Rinse cherry tomatoes and transfer to an oiled baking dish. Brush tomatoes with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F), 20-25 minutes.

In the meantime, toast bread. Top toast with sliced Fontina and baked cherry tomatoes. Place on a baking sheet and bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
