6 tart Apple
1 lemon (juiced)
80 grams softened butter
200 grams sugar
300 grams Puff pastry dough

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse apples, peel, quarter and core. Julienne flesh and sprinkle with lemon juice. Grease tart tins with 60 grams (approximately 2.1 ounces) of butter. Dust tins with a thick layer of sugar and add apples. 

2.

Place tins over medium heat and caramelize for about 10 minutes. Remove and let cool, then top with remaining sugar and butter.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Cut out 4 disks of dough, slightly larger than the tart tins. press dough onto apples. 

5.

Bake tarts in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Remove, let cool slightly, flip and release and serve warm or cooled.
