300 grams prepared Puff pastry dough
4 tart Apple (such as Granny Smith)
1 lemon (juiced)
3 Tbsps brown sugar
½ tsp Ground cinnamon
40 grams ground Hazelnuts
50 grams Apricot jelly (or orange jelly)
butter (for greasing the pan)

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Grease the tart pan with butter.

Roll out the puff pastry and line the tart pan with it. Peel the apples and cut into quarters. Remove the core and cut the apple quarters into thin slices. Toss the apples with the lemon juice. Mix in the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the ground hazelnuts evenly over the puff pastry. Layer the apples on top. Bake for 35 minutes, until golden brown.

Heat the apricot jelly in the microwave until melted. Remove the tart from the oven and brush with the jelly. Allow to cool and serve sliced into pieces.
