- For the bars
- 200 grams softened butter
- 200 grams sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 sm bottle Butter Vanilla emulsion
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 eggs
- 375 grams Pastry flour
- 2 gestr. TL Baking powder
- 1 can Apricot
- For the Streusel
- 350 grams Pastry flour
- 175 grams sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- cinnamon
- 200 grams melted butter

Preparation steps

For the bars, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, butter-vanilla flavoring, salt and eggs and mix until the batter is smooth. Mix flour and baking powder, sift over the batter and stir until combined. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the batter onto the baking sheet. Drain apricots and spread on the dough.
For the streusel, combine the flour and knead with sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and butter. Sprinkle over the apricots. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (gas mark 3-4, fan: 180 degrees) (approximately 400°F) bake about 30 minutes. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
