4 Turkey leg (approx. 250 g each, skin removed)
2 sprigs Sage (leaves picked)
12 rashers Bacon (streaky, American)
1 onion (sliced)
2 cloves garlic cloves (sliced)
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 cups sweet Corn frozen (thawed)
4 ½ cups Spinach (roughly chopped)

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160°C in a fan oven), 350°F, gas 4.

Season the turkey legs with ground black pepper. Arrange a few sage leaves around each leg and wrap the leg in 3 rashers of bacon. Put the turkey legs in a roasting tin or deep baking tray and bake in the oven for around 50 minutes until golden brown. Pour in a little water during the cooking time and baste the legs with the liquid from time to time.

Fry the onion and garlic in hot oil until translucent. Stir in the sweetcorn and cook for around 5 minutes. Add the spinach and leave to wilt.

Season the vegetables with salt and ground black pepper and arrange on plates. Place one turkey leg on each plate and serve.
