- For the pastries
- 200 grams fresh, ripe Strawberries
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 50 grams sugar
- ground cinnamon
- 4 leaves Filo dough
- 50 grams melted butter
- For the sauce
- 250 grams Natural yogurt
- 1 Tbsp liquid honey
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped mint

Preparation steps

For the pastries: Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Rinse, core and dice strawberries. Puree with lemon zest, sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.

Cut filo dough lengthwise into long, 6 cm (approximately 2 1/3 inch) wide strips. Brush the strips with melted butter. Put 1-2 tablespoons of strawberry puree on one end of each strip and fold dough over diagonally to create a small triangle. Continue to fold, as one would the flag, to form a filled triangle-shaped pastry. Place pastries on a tray lined with parchment paper, brush with remaining butter and bake until golden brown, about 7 minutes.

For the sauce: Combine yogurt, honey and mint.

Remove pastries from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve drizzled with yogurt sauce.
