- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 800 grams waxy potatoes
- 3 Tbsps clarified butter
- 250 milliliters Beef broth
- 250 grams Cherry tomatoes
- 4 Steak 180 grams each (approximately 6 ounces each)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- cayenne pepper
- Basil (for garnish)
Preparation steps
1.
Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. Peel, rinse and dice the potatoes. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan. Cook potatoes 5 minutes until golden brown. Add onion and garlic and cook briefly. Add broth and simmer 10 minutes.

Rinse and halve the cherry tomatoes.

Melt the remaining butter in a pan. Cook the steaks for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper.

Just before the end of cooking the potatoes, add the tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
5.
Cut steaks into strips. Serve with the potatoes and tomatoes. Garnish with basil leaves.
