- 400 grams trimmed chicken (from the legs)
- 2 stalks thin Leeks
- 200 milliliters chicken stock
- 125 milliliters soy sauce
- 20 grams sugar
- decoratively carved carrots
- Leaf lettuce variety (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Soak the skewers in water for a few minutes.

Cut the chicken into 2 cm cubes (approximately 2/3 inch). Rinse the leek and cut the whites and greens into 4 equal pieces.

Bring to a boil the chicken stock, soy sauce and sugar.

Put on each skewer 3 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of leeks, then dip into the sauce. Cook on a griddle 4-7 minutes while rotating until browned. Baste several times with the sauce. Serve garnished with carrot slices, leafy greens and the remaining sauce.
