- ½ cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 ½ cups ground Turkey
- 1 Tbsp finely grated carrots
- 1 Tbsp peach kernel (chopped)
- 1 tsp fresh, chopped parsley
- ½ tsp mixed Italian herbs
- 1 Tbsp sunflower oil

Preparation steps

Put all the ingredients, except for the oil into a bowl and mix well together.

Shape into small patties. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan and cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Substitute the minced turkey for 250g | 1.5 cups lean minced beef and follow the recipe as above.

Veggie burgers

Peel, chop and boil 1 medium sweet potato. Drain well, mash and then mix with 1 tbsp grated carrot, 1 tbsp chopped sweetcorn, 1 tbsp petit pois, 1 finely chopped spring onion and 3 tbsp grated cheddar cheese. Shape into patties and chill until firm. Beat 1 egg and spread 50g |1 cup fresh breadcrumbs on a plate. Dip the burgers in the egg and then coat in the breadcrumbs. Fry in the oil for 2-3 minutes each side until golden brown.
