- 4 day-old Bread roll
- 18 ozs Steak (sirloin)
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 onions (cut into rings)
- 2 Bell pepper (green and yellow, cut into strips)
- ⅛ cup Cognac
- 1 cup Chestnut mushroom (brown button mushrooms), sliced
- ½ cup Blue cheese (crumbled)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- ground Caraway

Preparation steps
1.
Halve the sesame rolls.
2.
Pat the beef dry and cut into strips.
3.
Heat the oil and fry the onions until golden brown. Add the meat and peppers and fry all together over a fairly high heat.
4.
Season with salt, pepper and caraway. Add the mushrooms and fry, stirring, for 3-4 minutes, until done.
5.
Finally add the cognac, check the seasoning and divide between the sesame rolls. Sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese, cover with the tops of the rolls and serve.
