Preparation steps

1.

Peel and clean the king prawns, cut on the back lengthwise and remove the spine. Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water. Skin, quarter, and remove the seeds.

Peel the garlic cloves, chop finely, and mix with the tomatoes. Rinse the leeks and cut into strips. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a frying pan and cook the leeks until soft. Pour 50 ml (approximately 1/4 cup) of water and bring to a soft boil, let it the liquid evaporate. Season with salt and pepper.

Brown the slices of white bread in 1-2 tablespoons butter in the frying plan.

Fry the shrimp in the remaining butter. Season with salt and pepper.

To serve: Spread the bread on a plate, cover with tomato, leek, and shrimp. Garnish with basil.
