Ingredients

1 Lime (zest)
200 grams butter
250 grams powdered sugar
1 egg
1 pinch salt
2 tsps sesame oil
2 Tbsps honey
400 grams Pastry flour
For garnish
50 grams Sesame seeds

Preparation steps

In a bowl, knead the lime zest with the butter, powdered sugar, egg, salt, sesame oil, honey and pastry flour until thoroughly combined. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Shape the dough into small balls.

For garnish: Roll each ball into the sesame seeds and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes.

3.

Bake in a 200°C (approximately 390°F) oven for 8-10 minutes. Decorate with candied ginger if desired.
