- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 onion
- 200 grams Green cabbage
- 1 carrot
- 1 green chili pepper
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- Garam Masala
- salt
- peppers
- freshly grated Nutmeg
- 20 grams Cashews
- 20 grams red Lentils
- 220 grams Semolina flour
- For garnish
- parsley
- green chili peppers

Preparation steps
1.
Peel onion and finely chop. Halve chile pepper, remove seeds and chop.

Peel carrot and finely grate. Grate cabbage or cut into thin strips.
3.
Heat half of the oil in a pot and sauté the ginger, onion, chile pepper, carrot and cabbage. Pour in 1/2 liter (approximately 1/2 quart) of water, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and bring to a boil.
4.
Meanwhile, coarsely chop the cashews and sauté with the red lentils in the remaining oil. Pour into the pot with the other ingredients. Then sprinkle in the semolina while stirring constantly and simmer about 8-10 minutes. Season with garam masala, salt and pepper and serve garnished with parsley and chile peppers.
