12 shrimp
800 grams Asparagus
1 pc ginger
1 garlic clove
1 shallot
4 Tbsps vegetable oil
1 tsp sesame oil
200 milliliters Chicken broth
2 Tbsps soy sauce
salt
peppers
1 pinch sugar

Preparation steps

Peel and devein the shrimp, rinse and pat dry. Rinse the asparagus, cut off the tough ends. Blanch the asparagus in a pot of boiling salted water until al dente, about 8 minutes, drain well. Peel and dice the shallot. Peel the ginger and garlic and chop very finely.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet, add the shrimp and sauté until cooked through, about 2 minutes on each side, remove, season with salt and pepper and set aside. Add 1 tablespoon oil to the skillet and saute the shallot, ginger and garlic, sitrring all the while until tender, about 3 minutes, then remove from the pan and place on plate.

Add the sesame oil to the pan and saute the  asparagus for 2 minutes. Add the chicken broth, ginger and garlic to the pan and season with soy sauce, salt, pepper and sugar. Add the shrimp and gently heat. Serve.
