- 3 onions
- 400 grams small Vine tomato
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 Knockwurst (Ham)
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 1 sm can ground saffron (about 0.1 gram)
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 generous pinches dried thyme
- 50 milliliters dry white wine
- salt
- freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps
1.
Peel onions and cut into thin strips. Rinse and quarter tomatoes. Peel and chop garlic. Slice sausages.

Heat butter in a pan and saute onions and sausages until onions are translucent. Add garlic and saffron and saute until onions are yellow. Add tomatoes, bay leaves and thyme, deglaze pan with wine and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, on medium heat. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
