Preparation steps

1.

Peel the pineapple, cut into eight long pieces, remove the hard stalk and cut the flesh crosswise into small pieces.

Chop the sauerkraut.

Heat the oil and sauté the sauerkraut over low heat while stirring.

Add the pineapple cubes and 200 ml of water (approximately 3/4 cup). Cover and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.

Serve hot.
