500 grams Rose hip
jam sugar (1:1 ratio)
2 tsps grated Lemon peel

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and trim the rosehips. Cut in half, remove the seeds, and soak overnight in 500 ml (approximately 17 ounces) of water. Simmer the rosehips in the water until soft, then puree and pass through a fine strainer. 

2.

Weigh the fruit puree, then mix in the same amount of jam sugar. Place in a pot and mix with the lemon zest. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 10 minutes. 

3.

Fill the prepared jars to the brim with the jam. Seal tightly, and turn upside down to cool for 15 minutes. Turn right side up and cool completely.
