4 tart Apple

2 Tbsps raisins
100 milliliters dry white wine
100 milliliters Chicken broth
1 ½ tsps mild Curry powder
120 grams Basmati rice (Prepared according to package instructions)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse, core, and slice apples. Sprinkle immediately with lemon juice. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic.

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a ovenproof pan and sauté the chicken breasts in the butter until well browned on one side. Then turn them over and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 8–10 minutes until done.

Meanwhile, heat the remaining butter in the pan and sweat the onions until soft. Add the garlic, apple, and raisins and sauté, stirring. Deglaze the pan with wine and broth. Add curry, salt, pepper to the pan and cook covered for another 8 minutes. Serve the apple-wine sauce with the chicken breast fillets on warmed plates. Serve with basmati rice.
