- 1 Tbsp ground paprika (hot or sweet to taste)
- 4 Tbsps melted butter

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Rinse chicken thoroughly, pat dry, trim as necessary and season inside with salt and pepper. Tie legs together with kitchen twine. Place breast-side up in a roasting pan and cook in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes.

In a bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of salt with paprika and butter. Brush chicken with butter mixture every 10 minutes during the cooking time.
4.
Remove chicken from the oven, remove kitchen twine and cut legs at the joint. Divide chicken along the sternum and remove wings at the joint. Serve chicken portions on a platter.
