1 Tbsp clarified butter
1 tsp Cumin (seeds)
1 tsp sugar
75 milliliters Wine vinegar

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the onions and slice thinly. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage, quarter and remove the core. Slice into very thin strips. Melt the butter in a large pot and sauté the onions until softened. Add the cumin seeds and sliced cabbage, sprinkle with sugar and sauté briefly. Deglaze with the wine vinegar and a bit of water. Season with salt and pepper, cover and let simmer for 20 minutes. Garnish with a pinch of cumin seeds and serve.
