Ingredients

For the crust
150 grams Pastry flour
100 grams butter
1 egg
1 tsp salt
For the filling
200 grams smoked Bacon
150 milliliters milk
200 milliliters Whipped cream
3 Tbsps grated Gruyere
1 small Leek
salt
freshly ground peppers
3 eggs
freshly grated Nutmeg

Preparation steps

1.

Mix the flour, butter, egg and salt and quickly knead a few times and form into a disc.

Between 2 sheets of wax paper, roll out the dough very thinly and place the pan. Pull up a rim about 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) high. Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Cut the bacon into small cubes. Clean the leek, cut off large parts of the green and cut the tender part into small cubes. Whisk the egg and mix in the milk, cream, eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg, cheese, leek and bacon.  Pour on top of the dough. 

4.

Bake 40-45 minutes, until golden brown.
