200 grams Puff pastry dough (frozen)
2 Pear
2 Apple
1 can Mandarin orange (drained, 175 grams)
3 dried Apricot
½ organic lemon (Juiced and zested)
4 Tbsps Maple syrup
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp cinnamon
butter (for the pan)
Pastry flour (for work surface)
1 egg yolk
2 Tbsps milk

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top and bottom heat Preheat.

Thaw puff pastry. Peel pears and apples, quarter and core, cut into slices. Drain mandarin oranges and combine with apples and pears. Quarter dried apricots and add to fruit mixture. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, maple syrup, cornstarch and cinnamon, mix well. Butter pie dish (24 cm in diameter) (approximately 10 inches) and arrange fruit in it.

Roll out puff pastry and top fruit with it, press the edges gently. Whisk egg yolk with milk and brush pastry with the mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
