350 milliliters Whipped cream
50 grams freshly grated Cheese (such as Gruyère, Parmesan)
2 Tbsps Crème fraiche

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Peel and halve the garlic. Rub the garlic on the bottom of a baking dish.

Rinse, peel and slice the potatoes. Layer the potatoes in the baking dish. Mix the cream, cheese and sour cream. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour the cream over the potatoes, so that they are barely covered. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown.

4.

If desired, increase the heat for the last 10 minutes to crisp the top layer. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
