- 125 grams red chili peppers (variety depending on the desired degree of sharpness)
- 150 milliliters olive oil
- 2 centimeters fresh ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 untreated lemon
- 1 tsp sweet ground paprika
- 1 tsp salt

Preparation steps

Rinse the chile peppers, pat dry, cut in half and remove seeds and white ribs. Place in a blender with 4-5 tablespoons of oil and puree. Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic.

Remove the zest of the lemon and squeeze the juice. Add zest and juice to a sterilized glass jar with the ginger, garlic, paprika and salt. Add the pureed chile peppers. Add enough of the remaining oil to completely cover the ingredients. Seal and store in the refrigerator.
