Pear and Apple Salad with Blue Cheese and Walnuts
Rinse, halve and remove seeds from apples. Cut apples into thin slices. Rinse and thinly slice pears lengthwise. Stack apple and pear slices on plates. Layer each serving with 1 slice gorgonzola and 1 lettuce leaf.
Make vinaigrette: Whisk 6 tablespoons walnut oil with 2 tablespoons cider vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle salads with vinaigrette and garnish each with watercress sprigs and 4 walnut halves.
