400 grams Broad bean

400 grams Rigatoni
2 garlic cloves
200 grams Bacon (Halved, sliced)
2 Tbsps butter
1 tsp freshly chopped parsley
1 tsp freshly chopped Basil
60 grams freshly grated pecorino romano

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse beans in a sieve and blanch in boiling salted water for 6-8 minutes. Drain, rinse in cold water and drain again. 

2.

Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente.

Peel garlic. Cook bacon in a pan until crispy. Drain on paper towels. Add butter to the same pan and saute beans and garlic until softened. Add herbs and drained pasta, toss well. Add bacon, season with salt and pepper to taste and serve sprinkled with freshly grated Pecorino.
