- 1 Tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp fresh Orange peel (finely grated)
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 350º F.

In a bowl, cream butter, sugars and orange rind together. Beat in egg yolks.
3.
Sift the flour, salt and baking soda together. Slowly add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture; beat well to incorporate.
4.
Shape dough into small logs and place in cookie press or spoon into pastry bag fitted with a star tip. Select desired shapes and press or pipe cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet about 1 1/2-inches apart. Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool. Dust with confectioners' sugar if desired. Serve.
