½ cup butter (cubed)
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup superfine caster sugar
3 large egg yolks
cup almonds (chopped)
1 cup mixed Berry

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160 fan) | 350°F | gas 4 and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

Rub the butter into the flour with a pinch of salt then stir in the sugar. Beat the egg yolks and stir them into the dry ingredients with the nuts and berries.
3.
Bring the mixture together into a soft dough and space tablespoons of the mixture out on the baking tray.
4.
Bake the biscuits for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer the biscuits to a wire rack and leave to cool.
