- ¼ cup Margarine (softened)
- ¼ cup caster sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ⅔ cup plain flour
- 1 small egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- salt
- vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup Dark Chocolate chip
- ½ cup Peanuts (finely chopped)
- milk (to serve)

Preparation steps
1.
Pre-heat the oven to 190°C | 375F | gas 5. Grease and line a baking sheet.
2.
In a mixing bowl, combine the margarine and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and the vanilla extract.
3.
Sift in the flour, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder and salt and mix well until smooth.
4.
Stir in the chocolate chips and peanuts, making sure they are evenly spread into the dough.
5.
Take a large tablespoons of the dough and roll into a balls before placing on the baking tray and flattening a little
6.
Bake for 8-10 minutes roughly and allow to cool on the baking trays for a few minutes before cooling completely on a wire rack.
