80 grams sugar
225 grams Pastry flour

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F) convection.

Cream the butter, syrup and sugar until light and fluffy. Sift the flour over top, add the nuts and mix until smooth. Divide the dough in half, cover with plastic wrap and chill for about 30 minutes.

On a floured work surface, roll out the dough until 3-4 mm (approximately 1/8 inch) thick and cut out stars. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the cookies on the prepared sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove the parchment paper and cookies from the baking sheet and let cool.

4.

Dust with powdered sugar to serve.
