Mixed Citrus Cooler

You can substitute the lemons and/or limes for oranges or grapefruits.
Juice five of the lemons and five of the limes into a saucepan and add the sugar and 250 ml of the water. Cut the remaining lemon and lime into slices and set to one side.
Cook the citrus juice and sugar mixture over a medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
Stir in the remaining water and the ice cubes. Pour into glasses and serve with a garnish of lemon and lime slices.
