Product recommendation
Yorkshire puddings are typically served with gravy with a Sunday roast. They also make a wonderful dessert filled with jam or syrup.

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 240°C (220°C in a fan oven), 475°F, gas 9.
2.
Sieve the flour into a bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and break in the egg. Add around 60 ml of water and pour in the milk, stirring, until you have a smooth, pourable pancake batter. Leave to rest.
3.
Meanwhile brush the holes in a pudding or muffin tray with oil. Put in the oven for 5-10 minutes to heat.
4.
Carefully pour the batter into the tray. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
