300 milliliters Whipped cream
2 Tbsps Crème fraiche
2 eggs
150 grams grated Gruyere

Preparation steps

Peel the kohlrabi peel and cut into thin slices. Spread a single layer of kohlrabi slices in the ramekins.

In a bowl, add the cream, creme fraiche, eggs, half of the grated cheese and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour the cream mixture over the kohlrabi so that it is just covered. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 350°F) until golden brown on top, about 30 minutes.
