- 1 large Watermelon
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Lime (juiced)
- 4 centiliters Vodka
- ½ handful mint
- 300 milliliters Apple juice
- 200 milliliters light Grape juice
- 1 bottle dry Sparkling wine (0.7 liter)
- Soda water (to fill)

Preparation steps

Cut a lid from the melon. Scoop out the pulp and cut about half into cubes. Use the rest of the pulp elsewhere.
Rinse the cucumber and dice finely. Squeeze the lime.
Place the fruit, together with the lime juice, the vodka, the mint leaves, the apple juice and the grape juice in a large bowl. Chill for about 3 hours. Also keep the hollowed-out melon cool.

Fill the melon with the fruit cocktail and the champagne. Top up with about 300 ml of water (approximately 1 1/4 cups) and serve.
