Watermelon is made up of around 92% of water, so each sip of this granita is hydrating and has significant levels of vitamins A, B6 and C, lycopene, antioxidants and amino acids. Plus, this quintessential summer drink is fat-free, low in sodium and is extremely low in calories! 

For other healthy sweeteners, you can substitute the honey with maple syrup or agave, and maybe add a touch of lime to make the flavors pop!

Preparation steps

1.

Cut the watermelon into small pieces and freeze slightly.

2.

Combine the frozen watermelon with the crushed ice and sweeten with the honey. Purée in a blender.

3.

Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.
